• Implementing the National Petrochemical Master Plan.
   

• Avail all local resources available (Feedstock, infrastructure, manpower, etc.) to national and international investors.

• Develop import displacement strategy to meet local market demand
   

• Propose appropriate projects that best serve the national economy to cope with the changing markets

• Set the Petrochemical technology database.  This will be offered to investors to help in selecting the optimum technology for their respective projects.
