Specifically,
ECHEM and its business Units will:

maintain effective contingency plans, where appropriate in
conjunction with authorities and emergency services.

Assess the
environmental, industrial hygiene, health and safety impacts
of its activates and manage the associated risks.

Consideration
for the health and safety of others and for the natural
environment.

Aim to make
continues improvements in its safety and environmental
management so that accidents are reduced, pollution prevented
and environmental emissions, waste, and use of energy are
continually reviewed.

Require our
contracts and sub-contractors to demonstrate the same level of
commitment to continue improvement in standards of care for
health, safety and the environment.

Foster an
understanding of health, safety and environmental issues
relating to its business amongst staff, related companies,
suppliers, contractors and communities local to its
operations; and will seek to understand and consider their
concerns.

Establishing
a framework for regular review of HSE objectives and targets.

Ensure
compliance with the policy through a process of review and
audit.
